What's Ignition?

What's Ignition?

Ignition is an AI platform for product and customer teams.

As founding designer, I helped shape the product from early workflow concepts through the interface, positioning, and launch materials—working closely with founders, product, engineering, and go-to-market partners.

Overview

Overview

The opportunity was not simply to add AI output to an existing workflow.

We needed to make uncertain, generated work useful: people had to understand what the system used, what it could change, and where their judgment was required.

Challenge

Challenge

I designed the product around reviewable AI assistance: clear inputs, editable recommendations, visible status, and handoffs that made correction part of the experience. The design work paired product interaction with a shared visual language so the platform could grow without fragmenting.

The Process

The Process

My role combined systems thinking and execution. I partnered with founders on product direction, with engineers on feasible interaction patterns, and with go-to-market teammates on the story customers would see. The output was a product foundation spanning research, planning, launch coordination, and customer-facing workflows.

Solution

Solution

The result was a coherent first-generation product experience with a clear AI interaction model: generated work remained inspectable and editable, while people retained control of decisions and launch readiness. This case study focuses on the design responsibilities I owned rather than claiming business outcomes I cannot independently verify.

Ignition then branched into an AI Agent platform called DoubleO that was acquired by ZoomInfo.
